Ok, the title is somewhat misleading since i think this is a Great Egret and not a crane. Anyway, it's the same one from yesterday. I think in this pose it's plumage is more easily appreciated.

I think it's a Great Egret. Shot this fella at a park, along a storm drain (thus the ugly background). I'd have to admit that in this shot the head isn't that sharp. The DOF wasn't enough to cover the whole bird (the wings are sharp). Still i think it looks pretty majestic all stretched out like ths huh?

Sunset over the Chinese Gardens here in Singapore. I actually used exposure bracketing and took shots at various intervals with the intent to go HDR with this shot. However, i later realised that the HDR effect actually spoils the shot and makes it look too unreal for my liking.

Firstly, i've got to admit that this was actually taken at the Chinese Gardens here in Singapore. Secondly, the colour cast isn't on purpose. I think it was caused by a combination of stacking a whole bunch of filters to achieve the 20s exposure time and a weird AWB setting. I tried to fix it when processing the RAW but to no avail. :(
